We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Deputy Manager of Volunteer Engagement within one of the UK's most respected faith-based organizations.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the sourcing and support of volunteer opportunities, serving as a guide for organizational development across the UKI (United Kingdom & Republic of Ireland) Territory.

In this role, you will contribute to the creation of new volunteer opportunities and the systems necessary for recruiting, matching, onboarding, training, and supporting volunteers.

Our organization prides itself on offering exceptional volunteer experiences, and you will play a key role in establishing a comprehensive system for tracking volunteer data while ensuring the integrity of this information.


The ideal candidate will possess:
- Extensive knowledge and experience in partnership collaboration and networking with various agencies to build corporate volunteering initiatives.
- A deep understanding and empathy for working within the faith-based or charitable sectors.
- Proven expertise in the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing management of volunteers.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a passion for facilitating organizational change.
- Significant training and presentation experience, aimed at enhancing our extensive volunteer portfolio.
- A solid track record of working with and analyzing electronic databases, along with proficiency in all Microsoft IT applications.
- Experience working effectively across all organizational levels.
