£26,000 - £29,000

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays and Sundays

The company is looking to share its extensive knowledge with aspiring engineers, offering training in various areas including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acquire skills in using manual and electrical hand tools, as well as lifting equipment and hot working tools
  • Conduct initial PAT tests on equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Participate in all necessary training within the field, covering electrical, mechanical, battery, and hydraulic systems
  • Develop and grow within the industry, with the option to become a fully qualified service engineer or compliance engineer
  • Manage time effectively to ensure high-quality work is completed promptly
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations

Candidate Requirements:
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 or degree in an engineering discipline (vehicle mechanics, mechanical/electrical engineering)
  • Previous experience in engineering environments is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Strong desire to learn and develop skills in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair
  • Willingness to explore a new industry
  • Valid UK driving license
