Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Service Technician to join our team at The Selection Partnership Ltd. As a Mechanical Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and troubleshooting mechanical power presses on site at customers' premises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and repairing mechanical power presses, including pneumatic, hydraulic, and lubrication systems
  • Working on power presses with varying capacities, from 1 ton to 1000 tons
  • Experience with mechanical and friction clutch and brake units
  • Providing technical support and training to customers
  • Traveling to customer premises nationwide and occasionally working away from home

Requirements:

  • Full clean driving license
  • Own tools and equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good mechanical understanding of presses and related systems
  • PCN level 2 in NDT crack detection (advantageous)
