About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Service Technician to join our team at The Selection Partnership Ltd. As a Mechanical Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing expert mechanical service and maintenance to our clients' power presses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on power presses, including servicing, troubleshooting, and rebuilding mechanical components.
  • Work on power presses with varying capacities, from 1 ton to 1000 tons.
  • Utilize knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and lubrication systems to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of mechanical and friction clutch and brake units.
  • Collaborate with our team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure timely completion of projects.
Requirements
  • Hold a valid full clean driving license.
  • Have a comprehensive set of tools and be willing to invest in additional equipment as needed.
  • Be comfortable with frequent travel and overnight stays, with a willingness to work nationwide.
  • Be able to accurately complete paperwork, service sheets, and time sheets.
  • Possess a PCN level 2 qualification in NDT crack detection (desirable).
