Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Service Technician to join our team at The Selection Partnership. As a Mechanical Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and troubleshooting mechanical power presses on site at customers' works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and repairing mechanical power presses, including pneumatic, hydraulic, and lubrication systems.
  • Working on power presses with capacities ranging from 1 ton to 1000 tons.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to customers on press maintenance and repair.
  • Conducting regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal press performance.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to resolve complex technical issues.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in mechanical service and repair, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pneumatic, hydraulic, and lubrication systems.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Valid full clean driving license and own tools.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
