Maintenance Engineer Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Bennett & Game Recruitment. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our diesel injector and pump manufacturing processes.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Clean, disassemble, and assemble diesel fuel injection components for injectors and pumps
  2. Utilize chemical and mechanical cleaning equipment to prepare fuel injection components for assembly
  3. Conduct test procedures and record data using computer systems and software
  4. Operate measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and air gauging equipment
  5. Test, inspect, and assemble injection components
  6. Perform various administrative tasks as required

Requirements:
  1. Previous experience within a mechanical discipline (automotive, HGV, plant, etc.)
  2. Previous experience with diesel engines
  3. Manual machining experience highly beneficial
  4. Experience in superfinishing is advantageous
  5. Must be detail-oriented and results-driven
  6. Able to work within a team and independently
  7. Able to handle time and output pressure
  8. Must be within a commutable distance of Egham

Remuneration:
  • Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 DOE
  • Full Time: Monday to Friday 08:00am - 18:00pm
  • Overtime available on request
  • 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
  • Pension
