Quality Controller For Hire Fleet
**Role Overview**: To primarily carry out Quality Control (QC) on our hire fleet, with occasional basic motorcycle maintenance, fleet cleaning and road-testing responsibilities. Ensuring that bikes leaving the workshop, following maintenance procedures, are completed to the highest possible standards. To actively contribute to the Hire Fleet output targets, offer maintenance assurance, drive quality and lower error rates which will be reflected in the standards of our final product.
**Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities**:
- Act as a quality gate keeper checking all completed motorcycles for cleanliness of the vehicle, Quality and safety against a defined QC check sheet and reconciling any damage you find, against recorded or omitted damage.
- Liaising with internal departments to expedite maintenance procedures as far as is reasonably practicable.
- Recommend and help to orchestrate remedial action as required to lower error rates.
- Contribute to feedback to other departments to improve quality of output.
- Control, movement, parking, and delivery of motorcycles on site to create efficiency, maximise space and reduce both Technician wait times and inefficient bike movements.
- Identify issues that need to be addressed to improve quality and reduce expenditure.
- Keeping your work area (and shared areas in the vicinity) clean and tidy.
**Skills Required**:
- Experience and knowledge of motorcycles.
- Confident in manual handling of motorcycles and heavy machinery.
- To be able to show a good eye for detail.
- Able to demonstrate clear and concise communication.
- Experience in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload accordingly.
