Job Title: Food Safety and Hygiene Team Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Safety and Hygiene Team Lead to join our team at Higgidy. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Food Safety and Hygiene Policies: Develop, implement, and maintain effective food safety and hygiene policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Lead the Hygiene Team: Supervise and lead the hygiene team to ensure that all food safety and hygiene procedures are followed and that the team is equipped to maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Conduct Regular Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of our operations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to ensure that food safety and hygiene standards are maintained.
  • Monitor and Report: Monitor and report on food safety and hygiene performance, including tracking and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to ensure that food safety and hygiene standards are integrated into all aspects of our operations.

Requirements:

  • Food Safety and Hygiene Experience: Proven experience in food safety and hygiene, including experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Leadership and Management Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, including experience in supervising and leading a team.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and implement corrective actions to improve food safety and hygiene performance.
