Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Alkegen. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for delivering a proactive and effective HR service to our managers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  1. HR Support: Provide first-line support and advice to colleagues on HR policies and processes, ensuring compliance with company procedures and best practices.
  2. Workday Administration: Support managers in utilizing Workday effectively, upskill colleagues where required, and maintain accurate HR records in Workday.
  3. Employee Lifecycle Management: Create and maintain employee contracts and documents associated with employee lifecycle events, including new starters, leavers, maternity, paternity, flexible working, or special leave.
  4. Investigations and Support: Support investigations, including grievances, disciplinary actions, performance reviews, and absence management, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
  5. Pay and Benefits Administration: Assist with the administration of pay reviews, benefits reviews, and change processes as required, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  6. Employee Engagement: Support employee engagement activities, including quarterly communications, roll-out, and action planning, to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  7. Recruitment Support: Assist managers with shortlisting, interviews, offers, induction, and onboarding, ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
  8. Reporting and Data Analysis: Create employee data reports as required using Workday, and audit data in Workday to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  9. Policy Development and Review: Collaborate with the HR team to monitor, review, and update HR policies, ensuring they are aligned with current legislation and best practices.
  10. Health and Safety Support: Liaise with the Health and Safety team to arrange on-site medicals, organize referrals to Occupational Health Physicians, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  11. HR Projects: Provide support with ongoing HR projects, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
