Our Contingent Workforce Solution (CWS) is a pivotal service, offering skilled interim and temporary personnel.We are currently in search of an Engineering Project Coordinator for a contract role focused on supporting our esteemed client, known for pioneering technologies that provide sustainable and efficient solutions for the world's energy requirements.
Role Overview: We are looking for a committed Engineering Project Coordinator with a robust background in Engineering, Manufacturing & Operations, or Procurement sectors.
In this position, you will be tasked with the practical implementation of projects, ensuring that all requirements are fulfilled and project milestones are successfully reached.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Project Implementation:
Direct the technical execution of engineering projects, ensuring that all technical goals and deliverables align with project specifications.
Project Coordination:
Manage daily project operations, oversee technical resources, and facilitate effective collaboration among engineering teams.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as the main liaison for technical stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners, providing progress updates and addressing any technical challenges.
Resource Allocation:
Efficiently allocate technical resources, ensuring optimal use of personnel, equipment, and materials to achieve project objectives.
Risk Assessment:
Identify potential technical risks and devise strategies to mitigate issues that may affect project delivery.
Documentation Management:
Maintain and revise technical project documentation, including engineering plans, timelines, and performance reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project standards.
Process Improvement:
Implement best practices in project execution and engineering processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Quality Control:
Ensure that all technical outputs meet quality benchmarks and adhere to engineering standards.
Qualifications:
Technical Proficiency:
Demonstrated experience in technical project execution within Aerospace, Defence, Automotive, or other regulated engineering fields, with a solid foundation in Engineering, Supply Chain & Procurement, and Manufacturing & Operations.
Practical Project Leadership:
Proven experience in managing the practical elements of engineering projects, including technical resource oversight and execution.
Project Management Software:
Familiarity with project management tools such as Primavera P6 or equivalent, for monitoring and managing project progress.
Technical Knowledge:
Comprehensive understanding of engineering processes and technical project management, with the capability to effectively resolve technical challenges.
Communication Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly to team members and stakeholders.
Analytical Thinking:
Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical issues.
Teamwork:
Exceptional collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.
