Job Opportunity: Staff Officer Accountant
About the Role
The Financial Services Unit is seeking a highly skilled Staff Officer Accountant to join their team on a contract basis. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for assisting with various financial tasks, including:
- Capturing and processing incoming post and case links
- Handling member complaints, FOIs, and SARs
- Reporting on pension statistics
- Processing monthly payroll for members
- Managing member payroll queries
- Preparing annual superannuation accounts
- Preparing monthly branch accounts
- Preparing ad hoc finance reports
- Managing the assurance function - Internal and External Audit
In addition to these tasks, you will be required to perform other finance duties as needed.
