Job Title: Qualified Social Worker

Tripod Social Care is seeking a qualified social worker with experience in children's duty and assessment to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled social worker to cover a recent vacancy in our children's duty and assessment team. The successful candidate will be responsible for visiting children regularly, engaging with them to understand their needs, and coordinating and chairing CIN meetings and strategy meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visiting children regularly to understand their needs and circumstances
  • Coordinating and chairing CIN meetings and strategy meetings
  • Developing and implementing plans to reduce risk and access early support for children and families
  • Working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including children, families, and other professionals
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social work practice

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • Experience in statutory social work functions, including safeguarding and support
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social work practice
