Emergency Duty Senior Practitioner Social Worker

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join our Emergency Duty Social Work Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for coordinating and carrying out assessments and implementing statutory duties under various acts, including the Mental Health Act 2003 and the Children Act 2004.
The role requires a commitment to lone working on an out-of-hours rota basis, with a 20% pay enhancement included in the salary. You will work closely with the on-call service manager and have access to a sessional pool of staff as needed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and carrying out assessments and implementing statutory duties under various acts
- Lone working on an out-of-hours rota basis
- Working closely with the on-call service manager and sessional pool of staff
- Delivering immediate solutions to complex safeguarding situations
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about protecting children and young people, with experience of working with adults/children and complex safeguarding situations. You must have AMHP status and Social Work England registration.
