Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, contributing to the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Your Responsibilities

  • Process pay cycles efficiently and accurately.
  • Conduct audits and controls to maintain financial integrity.
  • Generate reports on audit findings and control measures.
  • Ensure all supplier invoices are processed promptly and in accordance with established procedures.
  • Verify the legitimacy of invoices and challenge any documentation that does not comply with Bupa policy.
  • Identify areas for improvement within the e-Purchasing system and associated processes, providing support and guidance to colleagues.
  • Reconcile supplier statements accurately and resolve outstanding issues within specified deadlines.
  • Prioritize and address customer queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Actively participate in departmental projects and contribute to key objectives.
  • Provide support and assistance to the Procure to Pay Team Leader, Manager, and other team members.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in Accounts Payable, including managing pay cycles.
  • Previous experience in audits, controls, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong numeracy skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with management at all levels.
  • A customer-centric approach and a professional telephone manner.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and advanced PC skills.
