Job Summary

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Management Accountant to join their team. As a Senior Management Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the Finance Director and CFO in driving business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present management accounts and financial reports to senior management, including P&L, balance sheet, accruals, journals, and prepayments.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for cost reduction and financial efficiency.
  • Develop and manage budgets and financial forecasts to ensure accurate financial planning and projections.
  • Collaborate with non-finance stakeholders to provide financial guidance and support.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives to drive business growth and improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in management accounting, with a strong understanding of financial software and systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, including [insert specific systems].
  • Relevant professional qualifications, such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
