About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Account Handler to join our dynamic team at Stride Resource Management Ltd. As a Senior Account Handler, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial clients and delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Management: Manage a portfolio of commercial clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing expert advice and solutions.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Negotiation and Communication: Negotiate with insurers to obtain the most competitive terms and coverage for clients, and handle client queries and provide ongoing support throughout the policy lifecycle.
  • Market Knowledge: Keep abreast of market developments and changes in insurance products to advise clients effectively.
  • Team Management: Support and mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices, and effectively manage a team in a tight-knit company environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance, with a focus on commercial lines.
  • Qualifications: Relevant insurance qualifications (e.g., ACII, Cert CII) would be advantageous.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of insurance products, market trends, and regulatory requirements, proven track record in client relationship management and business development, excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
Day-to-Day Activities
  • Client Communication: Communicating with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Insurer Liaison: Liaising with insurers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and secure appropriate coverage for clients.
  • Policy Administration: Managing policy administration, including endorsements, renewals, and mid-term adjustments.
  • Risk Management: Providing proactive advice to clients on risk management and insurance solutions.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
