About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Management Accountant to join our client's finance team. As a Senior Management Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the Finance Director and CFO in driving business growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present management accounts and financial reports to the senior leadership team, including P&L, balance sheet, accruals, journals, and prepayments.
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Develop and manage budgets and financial forecasts to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and financial efficiency, and implement initiatives to achieve these goals.
- Collaborate with non-finance stakeholders to drive business growth and success.
Requirements
- Proven experience in management accounting, with a strong understanding of financial analysis and reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems, including Excel and financial planning tools.
- Relevant professional qualifications, such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
