OneMedical Group is in search of dedicated Patient Navigators

We are currently on the lookout for an enthusiastic individual to enhance our busy administrative team at OneMedical Group. In this role, you will be integral to the seamless and effective functioning of our practice.

You will possess strong communication skills and a warm, inviting demeanor, thriving in a fast-paced and challenging environment. While prior experience in a medical practice is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients and visitors, guiding them through their appointments and facilitating check-ins.
  • Manage incoming calls and address patient inquiries with professionalism and compassion.
  • Organize appointments and oversee the scheduling calendar proficiently.
  • Process prescription requests from patients and pharmacies.
  • Address patient concerns in person, over the phone, and via electronic communication.
  • Accurately manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including letters and emails.
  • Maintain a tidy reception area, ensuring it is prepared for use by colleagues, along with any necessary handover information.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and effective time management.
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy in managing patient information and administrative duties.
  • The capability to perform well in a fast-paced and demanding setting.
  • Preferably, previous experience as a patient navigator.
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with office software.
  • Experience in a healthcare or administrative role is preferred but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.
