Recruitment and Human Resources Coordinator

In the role of Recruitment and Human Resources Coordinator, you will be instrumental in enhancing our recruitment initiatives by identifying, engaging, and assisting in the selection of top-tier talent for various roles within Luminous. You will be a reliable professional who manages sensitive information with the utmost discretion.

Your collaboration with the HR Manager and senior leadership will be vital in comprehending staffing requirements and developing a robust pool of qualified candidates. This position is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about recruitment and eager to advance their careers in talent acquisition while acquiring new HR skills.

Your commitment to cultivating a constructive and positive workplace will be essential, as you will also provide administrative assistance to the HR Manager across multiple HR functions, including the management of employee records and adherence to HR regulations. This position is crucial for the seamless operation of the HR department.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition:

  • Identify potential candidates through diverse channels, including professional networks, online job platforms, and internal referrals.
  • Develop a candidate pipeline on professional networking platforms for all organizational roles.
  • Evaluate resumes and applications, coordinating interviews with candidates and team members.
  • Establish, maintain, and update an applicant tracking system (ATS) to document candidate information and recruitment activities.
  • Assist in formulating and executing recruitment strategies aimed at attracting a diverse and qualified applicant pool.
  • Support the HR and Office Manager in the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Engage with senior leadership (hiring managers) to understand team requirements and provide regular updates on recruitment progress.
  • Contribute to the creation of job descriptions and interview questions that accurately reflect the needs of each position.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication in our welcoming Luminous tone.
  • Offer constructive and sensitive feedback to candidates who are not selected.
  • Conduct preliminary screening calls with prospective candidates, ensuring they receive a favorable first impression of Luminous.
  • Act as an advocate for our Employer Brand and Employee Value Proposition (EVP), continuously seeking innovative ways to distinguish us as the employer of choice.

Human Resources Support:

  • Assist with the daily operations of the HR function, providing ongoing support to the HR Manager.
  • Maintain employee records within our Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Coordinate HR initiatives (meetings, training sessions, surveys, etc.).
  • Support payroll preparation by uploading payslips into our HRIS.
  • Assist in compiling HR reports by gathering relevant data.
  • Serve as a cultural ambassador for Luminous.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capability to work independently and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Proactive and self-driven with a desire to learn and develop professionally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Prior experience in a Junior Talent Acquisition or administrative support role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with professional networking platforms is advantageous but not essential.
