We are seeking a Revenue Recovery Officer to join our team at Service Care Solutions. This role is pivotal in enhancing revenue through effective management of outstanding payments and delivering a proactive service.

ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Revenue Recovery Officer, your primary responsibilities will include overseeing outstanding payment cases, offering guidance on payment issues, and engaging with clients regarding the implications of financial reforms.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing outstanding payments in accordance with established policies and procedures.
2. Implementing recovery strategies for current outstanding payments through various communication methods, including written correspondence, home visits, phone calls, and in-person meetings.
3. Drafting and issuing notices to initiate legal proceedings against clients for non-payment.
4. Preparing legal documentation to ensure compliance with relevant protocols.
5. Representing the organization in court for possession cases related to outstanding payments.
6. Compiling reports for the approval of legal actions.
7. Coordinating with court officials and attending eviction proceedings.
8. Providing accurate information and advice to clients, staying informed on policies and best practices.
9. Assisting clients with welfare benefits information to optimize their financial situation.
10. Offering financial advice to clients to alleviate outstanding payments and other financial challenges.

11. Collaborating with internal and external organizations, including financial departments, advisory services, law enforcement, and community groups.


12. Contributing to the development and execution of team objectives and individual performance targets, positively impacting improvement initiatives.
13. Ensuring that all information is accurately maintained across IT systems and records.
14. Upholding high standards of customer service at all times.
15. Identifying and addressing fraudulent claims appropriately.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience and the following qualifications:

1. Level 4 diploma in a related field or equivalent knowledge and experience in revenue management.
2. Strong understanding of processes and policies related to revenue recovery.
3. Proven experience managing complex cases and working independently to achieve results.
4. Familiarity with enforcement and legal processes for payment recovery, including court representation.
5. Experience collaborating with colleagues, external partners, and public sector agencies to resolve issues.
6. Ability to foster positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and external organizations.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
9. Ability to exercise discretion and sensitivity in case management.
10. Professionalism and tact in managing challenging situations.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
Temporary contract.
