Support Specialist for Young People - Campbell Road Service

We are seeking a compassionate and resilient Support Specialist to join our team at the Campbell Road Young Peoples service. If you are driven by making a genuine impact and thrive in a supportive environment, this role is an excellent opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate strong, supportive relationships with young people under our care.
  • Collaborate effectively with the team to manage caseloads and administrative tasks.
  • Work alongside young people to establish personalized goals and support their achievement.
  • Conduct engaging sessions designed to help young people reach their support plan objectives.
  • Proactively identify and manage potential risks and safety concerns.
  • Provide assistance with daily living activities, fostering independence and well-being.
  • Develop connections with local organizations to enhance the support network for our young people.
  • Actively involve young people in shaping service design and delivery, ensuring their voices are heard.
  • Guide tenants in effectively managing rent accounts and promoting financial responsibility.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health and safety policies, creating a secure environment for all.
  • Uphold Look Ahead's policies and procedures, demonstrating professionalism and integrity.
  • Supervise Assistant Support Workers, providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Prior experience working with young people in a care or support setting is highly desirable.
