Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our compliance function is operating effectively and efficiently, and that we are meeting all relevant regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Compliance Monitoring: Oversee the day-to-day running of compliance activities, ensuring that key commitments of the Compliance Monitoring Plan are performed on time and reported to a clear and accurate standard.
- Regulatory Risk Management: Identify and mitigate regulatory risks, and develop strategies to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Compliance Advice: Provide timely, accurate, and practical compliance advice to the business during projects or in relation to day-to-day activities.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit regular compliance reports, and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of compliance activities.
- Training and Development: Deliver scheduled and ad-hoc training for the business on relevant compliance topics.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the customer-facing, operational, and support teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration on compliance matters.
- Strong Compliance Background: Proven experience in compliance management, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management principles.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex compliance information to non-technical stakeholders, and to build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate regulatory risks.
- Leadership and Management Skills: Ability to lead and manage a team, and to provide guidance and support to colleagues on compliance matters.
- Competitive Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
