We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Ophthalmology Training Programme Director. This is a key role that will play a crucial part in shaping the future of ophthalmology training within the NHS.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with the Head of School to lead the delivery of ophthalmology training programmes
- Develop and implement effective educational strategies to improve learner supervision, assessment, and experience
- Engage with faculty to ensure effective educational outcomes and support the development of multi-professional links
- Collaborate with the Postgraduate Dean to work across the spectrum of health and social care, within the context of a team
- Proven experience in a similar role or in a related field
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
