About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Respiratory Training Programme Director. This is a fixed-term contract for 3 years with a possible further 2-year extension.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working with the Head of School to lead the delivery of a wide range of functions aligned to the NHS England mandate.

Main Responsibilities
  • Improving learner supervision, assessment, and experience
  • Engaging faculty and ensuring effective educational outcomes
  • Developing multi-professional links and whole workforce transformation

Requirements
  • Considerable experience of working with learners or doctors in training in an educational context
  • Primary clinical healthcare qualification
  • Membership/Fellowship of a College, Faculty, professional association, and/or regulatory body relevant to the specialty
Working Arrangements

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.

Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.

NHS England holds a Sponsor Licence, which may enable sponsorship for eligible candidates.
