Job Summary

Citi is seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Real Estate Risk Management team in the UK, Europe, and Asia Clusters. As the Head of Real Estate Risk Management, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and oversight to ensure that our real estate activities are aligned with our risk appetite and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks associated with real estate activities, including credit risk, market risk, and operational risk.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including credit management, origination, and risk management, to ensure effective communication and collaboration on risk-related matters.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that our real estate activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements, including those related to credit risk, market risk, and operational risk.
  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of risk professionals to ensure that they have the necessary skills and expertise to perform their duties effectively.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior business leaders, risk management, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in risk management, with a focus on real estate and capital markets.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex risk-related information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as the Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or the Certified Financial Analyst (CFA).
