About the Role

PBR Real Estate is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Acquisitions to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Investment team, you will play a critical role in identifying and evaluating real estate investment opportunities across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate real estate investment and development opportunities to identify potential returns on investment.
  • Underwrite and close real estate investments across our firm's investment strategies in select European markets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with owner/operators, developers, investors, brokers, lenders/bankers, and other market sources to generate qualified investment opportunities.
  • Contribute to analysis that informs our investment decisions and provide recommendations to senior management.
  • Oversee and drive a thorough due diligence process to protect our firm's risk profile throughout the transaction.
  • Build comprehensive feasibility studies and financial models, and lead the deal execution process.
  • Manage small deal teams to process and execute transactions, while developing junior talent.
  • Prepare market research updates, sector analysis, and benchmarking studies.
  • Monitor and manage existing investments to ensure optimal returns.
Requirements
  • MBA or similar university degree.
  • Minimum 7+ years of relevant real estate investment experience.
  • Proven investment track record of sourcing, structuring, and closing transactions.
  • Self-starter who can take a deal from initial analysis to due diligence.
  • Excellent due diligence, analytical, transaction structuring, and financial skills.
  • Disciplined and rigorous in underwriting and managing investments.
  • Ability to understand investment risks and methods to mitigate risks in structuring investments.
  • Astute commercial sense, strong analytical skills, and superior critical thinking.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and persuasively.
  • Able to multi-task and focus on delivering results.
  • Comfortable working in a highly entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong presentation and process management skills.
  • A strong sense of energy, drive, and commitment, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Fluency in one or more continental European languages in addition to English is preferred.
