Ares Management Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Real Estate Debt Analyst to join our growing European team.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in analyzing and executing a diverse range of real estate debt investment opportunities. You will collaborate closely with senior investment professionals, contributing to all stages of the investment lifecycle, from financial modeling and market research to due diligence and investor reporting.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with deal teams to analyze and execute real estate debt investments across Europe.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial models and conduct in-depth market research on specific geographic regions, property types, and sectors.
  • Summarize investment processes, policies, and procedures for internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with borrowers, lawyers, consultants, and other key deal participants.
  • Contribute to the preparation of investment committee memos and due diligence reports.
  • Monitor existing investments, providing regular updates on performance and identifying potential risks or opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university with a strong academic record.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in real estate finance or private equity within Europe.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling techniques.
  • Solid understanding of various asset classes and their valuation methodologies.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Fluency in English is essential; additional European language proficiency is a significant advantage.
