About the Role

Ares Management Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Debt Investment Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Real Estate - Debt Group, you will be responsible for analyzing and executing on a wide variety of investment opportunities in Real Estate - Debt.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior investment professionals to analyze and execute real estate debt investments;
  • Communicate with and report to all levels, from Associate to Partners, on investment opportunities and portfolio performance;
  • Develop and maintain extensive financial models to evaluate investment opportunities;
  • Summarize investment processes, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices;
  • Conduct research on geographic markets, property types, and sectors to identify investment opportunities;
  • Participate in all aspects of investment transactions, including due diligence, asset management, and reporting;
  • Interact with borrowers, lawyers, consultants, and other deal participants to ensure successful investment outcomes;

Requirements

  • University Degree with strong performance from a top undergraduate institution;
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in Real Estate Finance or Real Estate Private Equity in Europe;
  • Expertise in Excel and financial valuation and modeling processes;
  • Solid understanding of and ability to model multiple asset classes;
  • Talent for managing multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Ability to quickly and efficiently perform tasks, maintaining a focus on details;
  • Ability to perform market analysis, including rent and sales comparable studies, and assess qualitative and quantitative characteristics of properties and/or investments;
  • Ability to summarize thoughts into a concise manner and effectively communicate both internally and externally;
  • Relevant transactional experience in real estate debt;
  • Highly ethical, team-oriented, and adaptable individual with a keen sense of accountability and responsiveness;
  • Strong analytical ability, excellent organizational skills, and fluency in one additional European Language;

Reporting Relationships

The successful candidate will report to the Head of European Real Estate Debt.
