We are in search of a capable Emerging Psychological Practitioner to take on the responsibilities of a SEND Teaching Assistant, assisting students with a variety of requirements. The ideal candidate will have some background in supporting individuals with additional needs.

Emerging Psychological Practitioner | Role Overview:
  • An Emerging Psychological Practitioner should possess a solid understanding of SEND and atypical development.
  • This position is an initial short-term contract, with the potential for extension based on performance.
  • Responsibilities will include supporting children with SEND, including but not limited to; Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Speech and Language needs, Physical Disabilities, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
  • Candidates should have a strong academic background, demonstrated through their degree, A-Level, and GCSE achievements.
  • Key responsibilities include ensuring students meet their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) targets, assisting with the curriculum, providing pastoral support, and liaising with staff and parents.
  • Comprehensive training will be provided, along with opportunities for Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
  • Competitive remuneration of up to £110.00 per day, inclusive of holiday pay, with weekly payments via PAYE.
The institution is keen to connect with exceptional Emerging Psychological Practitioners. The interview process will consist of two stages: an initial video call followed by a practical trial at the institution.
