Key Responsibilities:
As an Emergency Nurse Practitioner / Paramedic, your duties will include:

  • Independently assessing, managing, and treating patients
  • Delivering care to individuals with various health issues and injuries
  • Prescribing medications as an independent non-medical prescriber or utilizing PGDs
  • Evaluating and treating patients aged 2 and older
  • Effectively communicating complex and sensitive information to patients, families, and colleagues
  • Leading and mentoring team members to foster professional and clinical growth

Candidate Requirements:
To be considered for the Emergency Nurse Practitioner / Paramedic role, applicants must possess:

  • Registered Nurse status with a valid NMC pin or Paramedic with HCPC registration (unrestricted)
  • Full eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • Evidence of ongoing professional education and training at the Master's level or completion of a level 7 module in advanced practice
  • A minimum of 2 years of UK experience in a comparable setting (emergency care or autonomously within a GP practice)
  • Independent Prescriber qualification (or in progress)
  • Experience caring for patients aged 2 and above
  • Paediatric Nurse Practitioner qualification is advantageous
  • Competence in conducting physical examinations for patients of all ages
  • Strong ability to prioritize workload
