We are excited to partner with a reputable insurance brokerage firm in search of a skilled Commercial Insurance Broker to enhance our team in Southend-on-Sea. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with a background in the construction sector to significantly contribute to the expansion of our commercial insurance portfolio.
Your primary focus will be on managing renewals, ensuring the highest standard of service for our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the renewal process for a lucrative portfolio of commercial clients, particularly within the construction industry.
  • Perform detailed risk assessments and deliver customized insurance solutions to address client needs.
  • Engage in negotiations with underwriters to secure the best possible terms and coverage for clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a reliable advisor.
  • Keep abreast of industry regulations, market dynamics, and advancements in insurance products.
  • Meet and exceed targets for new business acquisition and revenue growth.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial insurance broking, with a preference for experience in construction-related policies.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction-related risks, contractual obligations, and risk management practices.
  • Strong technical proficiency in policy documentation, endorsements, and claims processing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Familiarity with insurance management software, ideally Acturis.
  • A strong commitment to providing exceptional client service and achieving business growth objectives.
