Commercial Insurance Broker
Location: Southend-on-Sea
Salary: Up to £40,000

We are excited to partner with a reputable insurance brokerage firm that is on the lookout for a skilled Commercial Insurance Broker to enhance our team in Southend-on-Sea. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in the construction sector to significantly contribute to the expansion of our commercial insurance portfolio.
Your primary focus will be on managing renewals, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of service for our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the renewal process for a lucrative portfolio of commercial clients, particularly within the construction industry.
  • Perform detailed risk assessments and deliver customized insurance solutions to address potential risks.
  • Negotiate terms and premiums with underwriters to secure the best possible coverage for clients.
  • Develop and maintain robust relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor.
  • Keep abreast of industry regulations, market trends, and new product offerings.
  • Meet and exceed targets for new business and revenue growth.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial insurance broking, with a preference for experience in construction-related policies.
  • A comprehensive understanding of construction-related risks, contractual obligations, and risk management practices.
  • Strong technical knowledge of policy language, endorsements, and claims processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Familiarity with insurance management systems, ideally Acturis.
  • A dedication to providing exceptional client service and achieving growth objectives.
