Commercial Insurance Account Executive
Location: Southend-on-Sea
Salary: Up to £40,000

We are excited to collaborate with a reputable insurance brokerage that is in search of a skilled Commercial Insurance Specialist to enhance our team in Southend-on-Sea.

This role presents a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with a background in the construction sector to significantly contribute to the expansion of our commercial insurance portfolio.

Your primary focus will be on managing renewals, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of service for our valued clients.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the renewal process for a lucrative portfolio of commercial clients, particularly within the construction industry.
  • Perform detailed risk assessments and offer customized insurance solutions to address potential risks.
  • Negotiate coverage terms and premiums with underwriters to secure the best possible options for clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor.
  • Keep abreast of industry regulations, market dynamics, and product innovations.
  • Meet and exceed new business and revenue objectives.

Essential Requirements:


Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial insurance broking, with a preference for candidates familiar with construction policies.

In-depth knowledge of construction-related risks, contractual obligations, and risk management practices.

Strong technical skills in policy wording, endorsements, and claims management.

Outstanding client interaction abilities, with a knack for conveying complex information clearly.

Experience with insurance management systems, ideally Acturis.

A commitment to providing exceptional client service and achieving growth goals.
