Accounts Assistant Role

CMA Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to join their team in central Southampton. This is a full-time, permanent position that has arisen due to an internal promotion within the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchase Ledger Invoicing: Ensure accurate and authorized invoicing procedures are followed.
  • Coding and Posting Invoices: Process invoices with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Preparing Payment Runs: Coordinate and execute payment runs with precision.
  • Processing Staff Expenses: Manage and reconcile staff expenses efficiently.
  • Supplier Statement Reconciliations and Payment Queries: Resolve supplier queries and reconcile statements.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience in a finance department, specifically dealing with suppliers.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Office-Based: Be comfortable working in an office environment.
