Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Edinburgh. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support and care to our clients, helping them to achieve their goals and live independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality support and care to clients with learning disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with clients, families, and other professionals to ensure seamless support.
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Support clients to participate in community activities, promoting social inclusion and engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective support team.

Requirements

  • Christian faith and ability to work within and uphold CrossReach's Christian ethos.
  • Member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
