Job Title: Relief Home Care Support Worker

We are seeking a Relief Home Care Support Worker to join our team at Scottish Borders Council. As a Relief Home Care Support Worker, you will provide person-centred practical and emotional support to empower the people we care for, as outlined in individual support plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred practical and emotional support to empower the people we care for
  • Promote the health and well-being of the people we support and ensure their needs are met in an inclusive way
  • Support, enable and involve service users in all aspects of their lives, including personal care, eating, drinking, and mobility if necessary
  • Be responsible for the safe administration of Service Users' medication, following relevant training

Requirements:

  • SVQ2 or equivalent is desirable but not essential
