We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team at Struan Lodge Care Home. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.
About the Role
- Provide high-quality care and support to residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support residents with their medication, meal times, and other daily routines.
- Engage with residents in activities and hobbies, promoting social interaction and a sense of community.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery.
What We Offer
- A competitive hourly rate of £12.10.
- A 36-hour contracted week, providing a good work-life balance.
- A £1000 welcome bonus, paid in two installments after completing probation.
- Paid breaks and a comprehensive pension scheme.
- 5.6 weeks annual leave, based on a full-time basis.
- Uniform provided and a supportive, close-knit care team.
Requirements
- SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- Transferable skills and a genuine interest in working with the elderly.
