Job Summary

Bespoke Support is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Dumfries. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to individuals in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assistance with daily household tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
  • Prepare meals and assist with meal planning to ensure a healthy and balanced diet.
  • Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing and dressing, to promote a high standard of hygiene.
  • Provide companionship and engage in conversation with clients to combat loneliness and isolation.
  • Monitor and assist with medication reminders to ensure timely administration.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a home assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of basic household cleaning techniques and practices.
  • Familiarity with meal preparation and cooking.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage in conversation.
  • Compassionate and caring attitude towards clients.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy.
