Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated Relief Home Care Support Workers who are passionate about enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need, irrespective of prior experience or qualifications.

Job Title: Relief Home Care Support Worker

Location: Various locations within the Scottish Borders

Work Hours: Casual/Relief

Employment Type: Casual/Relief

Compensation: £13.34 per hour / £24,84 - £25,78 pro rata per annum

Preferred Qualifications: SVQ2 or equivalent is desirable but not essential. Opportunities for on-the-job learning are available.

Training Provided: Comprehensive training will be offered to all successful candidates.

Requirements: Candidates must possess PVG Adults clearance, which we will facilitate. Registration with SSSC is necessary.

A valid driving license and access to a vehicle is beneficial.

  • Providing tailored practical and emotional assistance to empower individuals under our care, adhering to personalized support plans.
  • Enhancing the overall health and well-being of those we support, ensuring their needs are met inclusively.
  • Facilitating, enabling, and engaging service users in all aspects of their lives, including personal care, nutrition, hydration, and mobility as required.
  • Responsible for the safe administration of Service Users' medication, following relevant training.
