Job Summary:

Carr Gomm is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling our service users to lead independent and fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support individuals with their daily life routine, as per their support plan, which may include meal preparation, medication administration, and personal care.
  • Work collaboratively with service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized support plans.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to service users, promoting their physical and mental well-being.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and reporting any concerns or incidents.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in providing high-quality care and support.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK or ability to apply for a visa granting permission to work in the UK.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of service users.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety protocols and procedures.
