At We Are Swim, we are dedicated to transforming lives through the power of swimming. We are the UK's premier provider of Learn to Swim experiences, and we are seeking a dynamic and motivational individual to take on the role of Swimming Program Supervisor.

Role Overview

Your main responsibility will be to ensure the safety and quality of our swimming lessons. This includes overseeing the delivery of lifesaving skills and first aid, while maintaining high standards of customer service and facility management. You will play a crucial role in providing every child with the opportunity to learn to swim.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to swimmers and their families, both in and out of the water.
  • Ensure safe handling, storage, and maintenance of all equipment.
  • Conduct and document health and safety checks as directed by management.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for all users and staff.
  • Plan, execute, and evaluate engaging swimming lessons for children aged 3-11.
  • Commit to personal and professional development through ongoing training and feedback.
  • Act as a positive role model, inspiring young swimmers to achieve their full potential.
  • Manage customer inquiries and promote memberships while collaborating with the team to uphold high standards.
  • Recognize and celebrate swimmer achievements through awards and certificates.
  • Adhere to company policies, including safeguarding, health and safety, and operational procedures.

Candidate Profile

  • Training and qualifications will be provided; existing qualifications are advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer service-oriented with a focus on quality and cleanliness.
  • Ability to encourage and support individuals with patience and perseverance.
  • Energetic, passionate, and dedicated to making a difference.
  • Basic swimming proficiency is required.
  • Comfortable working in an active and dynamic environment.
