Swim Coach and Program Director

About the Role
The Swimming Development Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing our swim program for members aged 3 months to 12 years old. This includes developing and implementing fun and engaging group and individualized swimming programs and lessons, taking into account students' abilities and progressive development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement swim programs for members aged 3 months to 12 years old
- Oversee and manage the swim program, including lesson planning and delivery
- Lead the education of swimmers and Aqua Buddies (swim teachers) on various techniques and styles
- Analyze swim techniques and determine skill levels
- Oversee training delivery and provide feedback to Aqua Buddies
- Be the main point of contact for members and parents, helping with booking classes and communicating progress
- Provide excellent customer service and foster a positive, dynamic, and supportive learning environment
Requirements
- Level 2-qualified teacher, with a willingness to work towards the Level 3 Swimming Coordinator Qualification
- Knowledge and experience in swimmer development, especially in babies and junior swimmers
- Ability to develop and deliver a learn-to-swim performance program suitable for babies and young children
- Strong communication skills to discuss programs and development with parents
- SEQ Level 2 Teaching Swimming to Babies and Toddlers qualification (desirable)
