Position Overview

We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a dedicated Team Administrator to become a vital member of our supportive Administrative Team.

The successful candidate will collaborate with clinical personnel who provide care for individuals facing significant mental health challenges and learning disabilities. This role is crucial in ensuring that our service delivery is both effective and comprehensive.

As a primary liaison for service users, general practitioners, and other healthcare professionals, exceptional customer service skills are essential. While prior experience within the NHS is beneficial, we also encourage applications from skilled administrators or secretaries who have a background in supporting multiple teams.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is a requirement for this position.

Key Responsibilities

About You

The ideal candidate will deliver high-level confidential administrative support to Community Mental Health and Learning Disability Teams, consistently maintaining our Trust Values. You will be part of a team that provides an efficient administrative service to assist clinical staff in meeting operational demands. We are looking for enthusiastic and diligent team players with excellent organizational skills, capable of producing quality documentation, collaborating with colleagues to manage daily workloads, and prioritizing tasks effectively.

Experience in minute-taking is advantageous.

Previous NHS experience is preferred.

Community Mental Health Teams:

Our service offers Mental Health and Learning Disability care for adult patients/service users.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential Qualifications

GCSE level grade C or equivalent NVQ Level 2 in administration or equivalent experience Word Processing/Typing RSA or equivalent experience

Desirable Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in administration or equivalent

Essential Experience

Proven experience in unsupervised administrative roles within a busy office setting Familiarity with software packages such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Experience with customer/patient information systems Minute-taking experience Ability to maintain a comprehensive and organized computerized filing system

Desirable Experience

Diary management Previous experience in Mental Health settings Previous experience within the NHS
