About the Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to join our team at Ecotricity. As a key member of our Places Management team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our internal and external customers, ensuring a safe and effective working environment across our sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Provide first-line contact for the Places Management team, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Work closely with the Places Manager and Service Team Lead to deliver high-quality services to our customers.
  • Maintenance and Repairs
    • Coordinate and manage maintenance schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and minimizing downtime.
    • Identify and report potential hazards, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and visitors.
  • Administration
    • Manage and maintain accurate records, including maintenance schedules, contractor information, and asset management.
    • Process purchase orders, invoices, and other administrative tasks as required.
  • Health and Safety
    • Conduct regular risk assessments and monitor employee health and safety, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Assist with the distribution of DSE equipment and conduct walk-around inspections to identify potential hazards.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors, and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and coordination.
    • Assist with the operation and maintenance of the Places Team Service Desk, responding to requests and escalating issues as necessary.

Requirements

  • Education and Qualifications
    • Relevant qualifications in facilities management, administration, or a related field.
  • Skills and Experience
    • Proven experience in facilities management, customer service, or a related field.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
