About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to join our team at Ecotricity. As a key member of our Places Management team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our internal and external customers, ensuring a safe and effective working environment across our sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • First Line Contact: Provide a primary point of contact for the Places Management team, responding to queries and requests from internal and external customers, including contractors and suppliers.
  • Project Support: Collaborate with the Places Manager and Service Team Lead on in-house projects, including chasing quotes, coordinating contractor delivery, and planning logistics for company events.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Conduct regular walk-around inspections to identify potential maintenance and repair needs, reporting issues to the Places Manager and implementing proactive measures to reduce reactive maintenance.
  • Contractor Management: Liaise with external companies regarding maintenance, recycling services, and other support services, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Asset Management: Efficiently manage assets across our buildings and equipment, ensuring timely maintenance, repairs, and replacements to maximize lifespan and minimize downtime.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and timely records for all relevant sites, ensuring pre-planned maintenance activities are carried out effectively and on time.
  • Health and Safety: Hold or commit to IOSH 4-day Managing Risk in the Workplace certification, carrying out risk assessments, DSE monitoring, and conducting walk-around inspections to identify potential hazards.
  • Administration: Support the team with ensuring all Places Team documentation is up-to-date and compliant with internal and external standards, including policies and processes.
  • Service Desk: Operate the Places Team Service Desk (Jira) and respond efficiently to requests, escalating issues as necessary.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent communication and administration skills. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of 'how things work' and be able to think on their feet. A full clean UK driving license is also required.
