Senior Payroll Manager Job Description
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Payroll Manager to lead our large payroll function and make a significant impact from the outset. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the payroll process for over 3,000 employees, ensuring compliance with all legislative requirements, and providing expert advice on technical and legislative matters.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Lead the payroll team to maximize system utilization and process payroll for a large and complex employee base
* Serve as the payroll systems and processes expert, advising on technical and legislative matters
* Manage payroll reporting and payments for HMRC and other jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with all legislative requirements
* Approve and reconcile HMRC and third-party payments, such as pensions and employee benefits
* Oversee payroll systems, advise HR on upgrades, and support internal and external audits
**Requirements:**
* Experience in a Payroll Manager role, leading a team of 3+ employees
* Oracle experience essential
* Experience bringing an outsourced payroll in-house
