Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Payroll Manager to lead our payroll team and oversee the large payroll function. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maximizing system utilization, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, and providing expert advice on payroll systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Payroll Team: Manage and motivate a team of payroll professionals to achieve exceptional results and ensure seamless payroll processing for over 3,000 employees.
- Payroll Systems and Processes: Serve as the payroll systems and processes expert, advising on technical and legislative matters, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Payroll Reporting and Payments: Manage payroll reporting and payments for HMRC and other jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Payroll Compliance: Approve and reconcile HMRC and third-party payments, such as pensions and employee benefits, ensuring compliance with all legislative requirements.
- Payroll Systems Management: Oversee payroll systems, advise HR on upgrades, and support internal and external audits.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in a Payroll Manager role, leading a team of 3+ and managing large-scale payroll operations.
- Payroll Systems: Essential experience with Oracle payroll systems and expertise in bringing outsourced payroll in-house.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of payroll professionals.
- Availability: Available to start in September.
