About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Team Leader to join our team at The Co-operative Group. As a Customer Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of Customer Team Members and providing exceptional customer service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide friendly, welcoming, and helpful service to our customers, ensuring that they have a positive shopping experience.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of Customer Team Members, providing coaching and training to help them develop their skills and abilities.
  • Store Operations: Ensure that the store remains safe, legal, and fully operational, including managing stock accuracy and conducting diligence checks.
  • Community Engagement: Build relationships with local community groups and support the delivery of the Co-operative Group's community plan.
  • Training and Development: Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, and support the development of your team.

  • Flexibility: The flexibility to work a range of different shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
