Role Summary

As the Personal Assistant (PA) to the CEO, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees, playing a crucial role in advancing the mission of Church Army. You will be a trusted partner, ensuring the CEO's time is utilized effectively by managing a dynamic schedule and various projects with adaptability and responsiveness.

Initially, you will support the interim CEO, providing essential assistance as we transition to a new permanent CEO. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring a smooth onboarding process for the incoming CEO, allowing them to focus on their responsibilities from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a highly efficient and confidential administrative service to the CEO.
  • Coordinate events and meetings within the CEO's Office.
  • Enhance the operational efficiency of the Chief Executive Office team through effective time and resource management.
  • Provide confidential administrative support to the Board of Trustees.
  • Engage with the CA Patron and project patrons as necessary.
  • Assist the President and Vice Presidents with administrative tasks.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in managing the diaries of senior executives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with diverse individuals.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Basic understanding of GDPR regulations.
  • Proficiency in IT and office software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Initiative and capability to work independently.
  • Composure under pressure.
  • Minute-taking skills or a willingness to develop them.
