Executive Director of Business Operations

Gleeson Logistics, in partnership with a leading International Third Party Logistics provider, is seeking an experienced Business Unit Director to lead their Technology & Consumer Electronics Vertical nationally.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive national vertical market strategy to drive growth and performance.
- Design and execute a sales strategy to increase revenue and profitability across the business, aligning with UK strategy goals and technological expectations.
- Lead a culture of operational excellence, delivering services that exceed customer expectations and outperform the competition.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and verticals to drive growth and brand expansion.
- Manage the P&L, forecasting, and budgeting for the UK business and each department, ensuring cost control and profitability.
- Oversee purchasing activities related to the UK Tech business and establish commercial guidelines for customer activity.
- Develop and monitor performance against key business metrics, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
- Lead and develop a strong management team, fostering a culture of excellence and best practices.
- Proven experience in a Tech or Consumer Electronics Vertical within a 3PL environment.
- Strong strategic leadership and commercial acumen, with experience in running a vertical within a 3PL setting.
- Excellent operational skills and ability to drive business growth and profitability.
